Paparazzi!: JPEG 2000

I've been thinking: If I kept JPEG 2000 output in Paparazzi!, would anyone even use it? I know I wouldn't. Plus, I know nothing about JPEG 2000 metadata, and neither does ImageIO (as opposed to PNG metadata, which I do know about even though ImageIO doesn't).

(Yes, this is all because of a blog post I found. It takes me a while to be rational. :) )

I honestly wouldn't use JPEG2000. I know there are advantages over JPEG, but I don't think these would be noticeable in a web-capture tool. Maybe if Paparazzi! became some sort of photography tool, then the compression and algorithms would be more useful. Otherwise, my vote is to not bother with JPEG2000, and work on PNG.

I'm tending to agree. I may just pull it out (at least until I write some metadata rubbish for it, or maybe forever).
